In the evening light at rocky crossing I was just thinking that it was odd that elephant dung would be floating so high in the water channel. That was until it moved!!!! All at once my self and tracker Rob jumped into action. Rob had the spotlight on it in seconds and I was... well i am not sure. Our guests thought we had gone mad! We were so excited...

The afternoon drive started with us setting out in search of a heard of elephant. Well that was the plan, but nature had other other ideas. Not 20 minutes after heading out on drive Samual L jackson(Ernie) had picked up some cheetah tracks. We didnt show much interest but kept that in mind. It was just then a herd of hartebeest was running away from some...

This could one of the best drive here at Lake Manyara. The morning seem to be positive with us out on the lake shore. The sun rose on lake and we saw big flocks of great white pelicans, glossy Ibis, yellow billed stork and lesser flamingo enjoying the sunny cloude day. We drove north where first we saw fresh leopard tracks at Kambi ya zamani. we were all...

I was driving one of the more scenic drives along the Sand River, when one of my guests spotted something out of the ordinary. He pointed at a termite mound - and lying in the sun was a Giant Plated lizard! It was quite relaxed and allowed us to have a very good view of it, which is unusual because it is quite a shy and reclusive species. I suspect it to...
